According to the Ministry of Women, the visit was to verify the quality of care provided to the citizens of Condorcanqui in the services of the sector such as Women’s Emergency Center (CEM)where the number of professional staff has increased and requests for translators are being managed, in order to strengthen the service and provide an adequate response to users and the community.
The head of the MIMP said that a professional team from her department carried out the symbolic delivery of orphan’s pensions in collaboration with the regional government and the Banco de la Nación.
In addition, computers, desks and school supplies were delivered to the children and adolescents of the community.
It was also reported that a professional team from MIMP is in Nieva, Condorcanqui province, where they are holding a meeting with authorities from a dozen native communities to incorporate girls, boys and adolescents into the registry of beneficiaries of Economic Assistance for Orphanhood.
In this way, through the community leaders, they seek to ensure that this benefit reaches, as soon as possible, the vulnerable population that requires it, in order to guarantee their protection and comprehensive development.
