Italian Carlo Ancelotti praised the Brazilian team’s performance in the 2-0 victory over Senegal, in a friendly match played this Saturday (15) at the Emirates Stadium, in London. According to the Brazilian commander, the team played a “very beautiful game”.
“It was a very beautiful game, with sacrifice and concentration at a defensive level. I liked the work done, the sacrifice, this idea of the game that we wanted to do well with quality, concentrated defensively, and all the players worked very well. A lot of pressure in the first half, control in the second half, because we didn’t need very high pressure like in the first half. The quality of the players up front made the difference”, declared the Italian.
At the press conference after the Brazilian victory, Carlo Ancelotti highlighted the great moment of striker Estêvão. The Chelsea (England) player, who scored the first goal in Saturday’s victory, scored four times in six games for the Brazilian national team: “It’s a surprise to see such a young player with this type of talent. He’s very precise and very forceful. Brazil has a guaranteed future with him.”
Next Tuesday (18) Carlo Ancelotti’s team will have another opportunity to carry out tests for the 2026 World Cup, when they will face Tunisia, starting at 4:30 pm, at the Decathlon Stadium, in Lille (France).
