Ancelotti: "No one thought that Real Madrid would be in another final this year"

The coach of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti was happy after getting into the Champions League final by beating City 3-1 in another epic comeback, assuring that “no one thought that Real Madrid would be in another final”.

“Everyone thought the game was over (when City went ahead), A small detail was enough, Rodrygo’s goal and all our energy” to turn the game around, Ancelotti said after the game.

“The rival was strong, the match was very competitive, After Manchester’s goal, the game was more complicated, but we had luck, energy, sacrifice, everything” to come back, he insisted.

the italian coach recalled the previous comebacks against PSG and Chelsea.

“We have had fantastic nights, we have played against three very strong teams accredited to win the Champions League, now we have another one”, said Ancelotti.
