The National Association Against Cancer was illuminated last Friday, September 30, with the colors alluding to the national campaign for the prevention of breast cancer and prostate cancer that is carried out every year during the month of October in our country.
Dr. Aris Ramos, President of the Board of Directors of ANCEC, gave the welcoming remarks, inviting women and men to undergo their cancer prevention exams, recalling the call of the World Health Organization to promote policies and programs that respond to early detection, in order to improve prognosis, survival and reduce cases by 25% by 2025.
The event was held at the main headquarters in Panama City and brought together the board of directors, administrative staff, doctors, nurses, volunteers from the association and special guests who witnessed the cutting of the ribbon and the lighting of pink and light blue lights.
