A crash between two interprovincial buses, one from Oltursa heading to Lima and another from Expreso Peruanito, left at least 28 injured in the Tortugas oval, Casma (Áncash).
The accident occurred in a high traffic area and mobilized firefighters, Serenazgo, National Police and local authorities, who acted quickly to evacuate those affected.
The authorities are investigating the causes, with suspicions of excessive speed, driving conditions or the state of the road.
