Anahí Durand was separated from the presidency of New Peru after it was revealed that she is a consultant in the PCM

The former Minister of Women and Vulnerable Populations Anahi Durand was separated from the presidency of New Peru after it was revealed that she works as a consultant in the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM).

This was reported by the National Political Commission of said political group, who explained that in the last ordinary meeting they were told that the former head of the MIMP was invited to work in the PCM by Hannibal Torres.

In a statement, he stated that after a conversation and respective debates, it was decided to ask Anahí Durand to resign from consulting in the PCM or to the presidency of said party.

“In response, the compañera made her position available, for this reason the National Political Commission decided to separate her from her position as President, considering that the accepted consultancy is incompatible with her role in the organization and to report to the National Council and the authorities competent organic bodies for their knowledge and pertinent purposes”narrowed down

Durand also revealed that a few days ago he accepted the invitation of the prime minister, Hannibal Torresto be a consultant in the office of advisers of the PCM and stated that “If it is a popular government that must be relaunched, then it is coherent to work in the State that it tries to lead”.

“I accept the New Peru decision and I leave a party that I helped found but that today is no longer useful to the Peruvian popular classes”sentenced the former Minister of Women.
