Fuels
The president of the National Association of Gasoline Retailers (Anadegas), Juan Matos, said yesterday that the fuel stations established on the border do not have shortage problems, because the Specialized Body in Land Border Security (Cesfront) and the Corps Specialized Fuel Control (Ceccom) are in control of the situation.
“The fuel stations are operating normally on the border of the country, but they have reduced the dispatch of fuel in jugs to prevent the fuel from being taken to Haiti,” he said.
However, he affirmed that a fuel station may be short of supplies for a morning or a couple of hours, due to the socio-political situation that Haiti is going through.
