Deputy Ana Giselle Rosas, who announced her resignation on Wednesday afternoon, as well as that of two other colleagues: Edwin Zúñiga and Rony Araúz, from the Cambio Democrático (CD) caucus, explained this Thursday that they made the decision “to exclude us from that group that is making wrong decisions endorsing the mismanagement of the PRD government that we have at this time”, referring to the group of 15 dissident CD deputies.

He added that it is a decision they make in the opposition role, and clarified that the three continue to be part of the Cambio Democrático party. “Each one has different important positions within the party. It is important to send that message of calm,” he said.

He reiterated that, for more than a year, they have not been part of the voting method of the other 15 deputies, and that for three years, the bench has been led by deputy Yanibel Ábrego.
