Deputy Ana Giselle Rosas referred to the internal elections of the Cambio Democrático party on March 19 and where she is running to be the Secretary for Women.
“We as members of the faction that supports the presidential project of Rómulo Roux have always worked in the face of what is established in the statutes and the electoral code, in fact we call for the Electoral Tribunal (TE) to be the guarantor of the democratic process, of the autonomy of the parties, we saw a meeting of a group of deputies with the magistrates of the TE, we understand that some kind of pressure is being exerted so that the elections for the secretaries are not carried out by this group because they do not have the votes, we call for democracy and the internal processes of the parties, we are sure that we will win the elections on March 19”, stressed Rosas.
Regarding the other faction within Cambio Democrático that supports the Realizando Metas party, Rosas expressed that they want to divide them because they know they are a strong option for 2024 “Not only the Realizando Metas party, it is obvious that they are working together with the PRD as well , because that is part of the strategy, to divide us because it is recognized that Rómulo Roux is the option to win in 2024,”
