AN presents evidence and names of accomplices in Trump’s looting of Venezuela

The Special Commission of the National Assembly (AN), that investigates the responsibilities of the ex-president of the United States, donald trump, After confessing the robberies against Venezuela, he presented this Thursday a preliminary balance with evidence, names and surnames of some of the leaders of the Venezuelan political right, who participated in the plans of aggression and looting of the country’s resources, from the imperial regime that governs the US.

The president of the commission, deputy Pedro Infanteshowed the dossier of the results achieved so far, before the Plenary of Parliament, where he requested an extension of 30 more days to complete the investigation assigned by the National Legislative Power, and that will serve to take the actions that derive from its results, when determining several crimes committed against the Bolivarian Constitution and various national and international laws, including the Vienna Convention and the UN against terrorism.

He took the opportunity to propose holding forums with Popular Power, social movements, women’s movements, health, education, food, oil personnel, workers and workers, who were victims of imperial actions.

“Some legislative proposals have emerged, but it is not yet time to say what these legislative proposals consist of, but we also propose an agenda that is being built in this special commission, for formal denunciation in national and international instances, and a great popular mobilization so that our people can raise their voices in defense of our Homeland, sovereignty and national interests.”

Responsible with names and surnames:

He reported that the investigation also reveals the review of all the actions of the National Assembly, period 2016-2020, which in contempt of the Constitution and stubbornly approved 24 agreements, three laws and six administrative acts, with the illegal appointment of alleged officials in the national oil industries, from PDVSA to those located abroad, such as Citgo.

“With your first and last name, President, in this small balance sheet, I dare to mention some of the national leaders: Juan Guaidó, David Smolansky, Freddy Guevara, Juan Goycochea, María Corina Machado, Leopoldo López, Enrique Capriles, Henry Ramos Allup, Tomás Guanipa and Juan Pablo Guanipa, Antonio Ledezma, Gustavo Tarre Briceño, Elías Mata, Carlos Vecchio, Juan José Rendón, Miguel P. izarro, José Ignacio Hernández, Gustavo Marcano, Alberto Federico Ravell, William Dávila, Ismael García, José Guerra, Freddy Superlano, Luis Palacio, Horacio Medina, and the list is longer, but I’ll leave it here,” he said, after listing the list of accomplices.

He also mentioned some people and institutions as international authors, among them: the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, some of his spokesmen and officials, such as Mark Esper, John Bolton, Mauricio Claver, Ron DeSantis, Elliott Abrams, William Browmfield, William Barr, Luis Almagro, and other OAS spokesmen. Also, some former presidents of Latin America and spokespersons for organizations such as the State and Treasury Departments, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, the Southern Command, the National Security Council, the US Attorney General’s Office, the North American mercenary company Silvercorp and Exxon Mobil, among others.

Infante aired some documents that constitute evidence of the crime of treason against the Homeland. He showed a statement from the Organization called “Vente Venezuela”, signed by María Corina Machado, where they requested the invasion of foreign concerted forces against Venezuela. Also, public statements by Henrique Capriles, and other political leaders.

In addition, a legislative gazette of Wednesday, February 20, 2019, which illegally authorizes the appointment to execute positions of the intervention body called the “Shareholder Administrative Board” and “Petróleos de Venezuela Board of Directors”, approved by the deputies that were part of that AN in contempt and that -curiously- was reaffirmed by the alleged “AN in exile”.

“Here, responsibilities for national and international crimes are being defined,” said Infante, who briefly drew the timeline of how these criminal actors acted in these nine years of continuous attacks against the Venezuelan people, through 930 unilateral coercive measures each year, from 2015 to 2023, with the so-called direct and indirect “sanctions” against the national economy.

“In other words, we are going to determine crimes committed against national and international officials and we will propose a set of actions that, from the National Assembly, and in coordination with the rest of the national Public Powers, we will have to carry out with great force and with a great many people, to defend the Homeland from all foreign attacks and their national lackeys.”
