AN instructs on the Law of New Ventures in Carabobo

With the participation of 100 entrepreneurs from all over the country, at the Emprender Juntos Carabobo 2022 expo fair, the National Assembly (AN) held a forum to present the most relevant articles of the Law for the Development and Promotion of New Venturessanctioned on October 15, 2021.

This activity, carried out by the Permanent Commission of Economy of the AN, allowed to develop a meeting space so that the entrepreneurs, directly with the representatives of the Legislative Power, clear their doubts and know the benefits of the legal instrument, referred a note of the legislative body.

Disclosure plan

The second vice president of the AN, deputy Vanesa Montero, reported that parliamentarians have been deployed to promote a legislative disclosure plan throughout the national territory, with the aim of publicizing the 50 laws passed by the Venezuelan Parliament.

For Montero, the Assembly is bringing entrepreneurs closer to the legislative dialogue on this project, which is nothing more than “the legal framework that protects new entrepreneurs, a law that comes to protect them and give them important elements for development, a law support for new ventures.

For his part, the vice president of the Permanent Commission on Economy, Finance and National Development, deputy Orlando Camacho, stated that the law is intended to promote the new creative economy.

“That entrepreneurs feel that the commission is a helping hand. We are willing to help them,” Camacho said.

During the conversation in Carabobo, Deputy Camacho recalled that the law allows access to bank loans as part of the support for the new economy that is being promoted in the country.

Law of New Ventures

It should be remembered that in October 2021, the second discussion approved the Law for the Promotion and Development of New Ventures, which in its 22 articles, provides legal protection and promotes the commercial activity of new entrepreneurs in the supply of goods and services.

During the presentation of this bill, it was highlighted that 3,462 proposals were received to “put a grain of sand in this law”, in addition to a broad debate with different sectors of the country for the consolidation of this legal framework.

The law seeks to promote the development of new ventures, to expand the supply of goods and services for the economic development of the nation, in addition to promoting entrepreneurship with a view to free and fair competition, inclusion, social responsibility, sustainable development and economic independence.
