The vice president of the Permanent Commission of Development for the Communes of the National Assembly, Pedro Infante, reported that a special commission divided into four more groups was installed to review the body of laws of Popular Power, and that progress is already being made on several proposals concrete.
He also indicated that within the discussion it was established that every Wednesday afternoon there will be sessions in a commune. “Next Wednesday this special commission will be in a commune in Caracas, we will be rotating throughout the country to meet with people to make a deep discussion that impacts all of society”, refers to a press release.
For her part, Deputy Blanca Eekhout stressed that true democracy is the one that is founded on the people, “our true participatory and protagonist democracy is based on the people, which is Bolivarian socialism.”
Likewise, he added that it is necessary to design legal instruments that are effective and efficient and that, at the same time, simplify the action of the people organized to “guarantee that all our laws are applicable and that they allow the deepening and advancement of development, the impulse of Popular Power.”
