A strong earthquake estimated at 5.2 degrees of magnitude shook the city of San Juan this Friday at 8:28, reported the National Institute for Seismic Prevention (Inpres).
The phenomenon, which was strongly felt in the city, would have occurred a few kilometers east of the capital of San Juan, in the Pie de Palo mountains, according to preliminary information.
Inpres reported that the event had a magnitude of 5.2 degrees on the Mercalli Scale and was recorded at a depth of 110 kilometers.
