The agreement repudiating the statements of the now former mayor of the Simón Rodríguez municipality that was unanimously approved by the 277 deputies of the National Assembly (AN), was delivered to the governor of the Anzoátegui state, Luis Marcano, in an act of reparation carried out this Friday May 5 in El Tigre.
The first vice president of the AN, Pedro Infante, was in charge of delivering the document to the governor in front of the inclusive mural dedicated to autism on Francisco de Miranda avenue.
The first regional president was accompanied by the first combatant, Marcia Moreno; legislators, part of the executive train, mayors and mayors and representatives of organizations that defend autism.
Marcano highlighted that the AN debate sets a significant precedent in the struggle of girls and boys with some special condition, in addition to activating legal mechanisms with which an important lesson is generated for those who hold elected positions.
After the presentation of the Symphony Orchestra of the city in charge of young people with conditions, the governor expressed that “the people of this municipality are noble, good people, with values, who preach equality, solidarity by example and today send a message to the country and to the world, a message of defense towards people with autism”, he said.
He offered absolute support for the decisions made by the Municipal Chamber of Simón Rodríguez, the entity that appointed the mayor and new board of directors, to whom he expressed institutional support over and above political differences.
The mural is replicated in several municipalities
Marcia Moreno, feminist activist, fighter for the rights of children and adolescents, promoter of the public consultation of the new Law of Care for People with Autism and first combatant, reported the creation of more murals like the one criticized in El Tigre.
The first, as he wrote on social networks, was in the Domingo Guzmán Lander sector of Barcelona, ”in support of people with the autism spectrum.”
Similar paintings are also made in Aragua de Barcelona, Cantaura and Guanipa (El Tigrito).
