This Tuesday, the special commission of the National Assembly (AN) that will investigate the statements made by the former president of the United States (USA), Donald Trump.
This, after the former US president acknowledged in a press conference – from North Carolina – that his objective was to leave a collapsed Venezuela to take over Venezuelan oil.
In this sense, the president of the AN, Jorge Rodríguez, indicated that this commission will be in charge of identifying “the scope and responsibility incurred through the confession by the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, and that constitutes a full confession with those responsible in the US and Venezuela.”
The commission is chaired by the first vice president of the AN, Pedro Infante.
Similarly, the commission will be made up of parliamentarians José Brito; as vice president, Ricardo González; Mario Silva, Gilberto Jiménez, Oscar Ronderos, Alfonso Campos, deputies María Rosa Jiménez and Ilenia Medina and deputy Juan Carlos Alvarado.
After its formation, the president of the AN urged them to present a report in the corresponding period to the National Assembly.
It should be remembered that, last June 13, The AN announced that it will investigate the facts derived from the confession made by the former President of the United States of America Donald Trump and the complicity on the part of Venezuelan political leaders in the actions against Venezuela.
