Agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrested a subject linked to Héctor Guerrero Flores (Niño Guerrero), who led the Tren de Aragua organization while he was held in the Aragua Penitentiary Center, located in the town of Tocorón.
The arrest of the subject was revealed on his social networks by Domingo Hernández Lárez, head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), who specified that the man is identified as Víctor Jesús Tarazona Jiménez alias El Chuy.
This person was coming from Colombia in a public transport unit which was inspected at the Citizen Service Point El Remolino, José Antonio Páez municipality (Guasdualito), Apure. After being arrested, the man was seized with 12 9mm caliber cartridges and a telephone equipment, Hernández Lárez said. “The Venezuelan State fights daily against the groups that generate violence that affect the peace and tranquility of the population,” wrote the head of Ceofanb on his social networks.
In another incident, GNB agents confronted members of the Yeico Masacre criminal group, one of whom was killed and identified by the nickname El Chueco.
The confrontation took place in the Recta de Los Guajiros sector, Miranda municipality (Los Puertos de Altagracia), Zulia state. After the fight, the officers collected a .38 caliber revolver, according to a report from Detachment 113 of the GNB.
