The National Assembly (AN) approved this Thursday the Partial Reform of the Law for the Promotion and Development of New Enterprises, in order to strengthen the promotion and development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, promote entrepreneurial culture, as well as the diversification of the national economy, among others, says an AVN note.
During the extraordinary session, six points of the legal instrument were addressed, including modifications and additions of sections, headings, as well as the modification, deletion and inclusion of some articles.
Among them, article 4, which after its modification, presents entrepreneurship as an economic activity, for profit, carried out by one or more persons, which acquires legal personality with registration in the National Registry of Entrepreneurship, in the terms provided by law, AN Press reports.
Likewise, Article 7 incorporates the governing body in matters of entrepreneurship, together with the Marca País Institute, in order to design programs focused on the National Comprehensive Training Plan, as well as national and international campaigns to strengthen entrepreneurship.
The law, which was submitted to the National Executive for promulgation, establishes the legal framework for the promotion and development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting entrepreneurial culture, implementing new forms of association and financing aimed at increasing the production of goods and services, the deployment of innovations and the diversification of the national economy.
It also provides for the creation of the National Entrepreneurship Fund, attached to the governing body in this area, in order to finance and support those registered in the National Entrepreneurship Registry.
