The National Assembly (AN) on Tuesday approved the first discussion of the bill approving the Agricultural Cooperation Framework Agreement, adopted in the XXIV Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the peoples of Our America – Treaty of Commerce – Treaty of Treaty of of the peoples (ALBA-TCP), in accordance with the provisions of article 104 of the Internal Regulations and the debates of the AN.
The bill was presented by Deputy Roy Daza who highlighted the importance of the integration of Latin America for the added value that it contributes to the economies of the Alba-TCP countries that practice cooperation and exchange, complementarity and mutual benefit.
“The ideas formulated in the Framework Project contemplate the productive and equitable development, which in turn has the axes technical cooperation, production and productivity, the diversification of our agriculture, agri -food trade between countries and the promotion of investments. State, private and various countries investments acting that they go together aimed at raising agriculture in our countries, ”said Daza.
This agreement was presented on February 3 by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro during the meeting- via telematics- of the countries that make up the ALBA-TCP, where he highlighted the importance of consolidating the issue of Agroalba, to advance and consolidate Advanced concepts in agriculture, guaranteeing the production and export of organic foods, compared to those produced through transgenic and pesticides seeds agrochemicals.
In that sense, they will develop the I Fair Agroalba 2025, an event that takes place to exchange productive experiences, investments among other topics.
