During an interview on the show In the air broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Elio Serrano, stressed that the Proposal for an Organic Water Law seeks to compile all existing regulations and under the national Constitution, as well as to base the preservation and care of this natural element.
“We are in the elaboration of the Organic Law, compiling everything that is in the regulations on the environmental issue and the vital liquid, in such a way that there is no dispersion. In addition, it is requested that it be established as an Organic Law so that it is faithfully complied with, ”he said.
He stressed that with this regulation the preservation of the basins is also sought, in such a way that it is sustainable: “In this instrument we establish the preservation, care and use of the basins, as well as the link of the People’s Power with this type of topics”.
The parliamentarian specified that the remaining consultations to present the report of the second discussion of the Organic Water Law Project before the National Assembly, will take place between the months of June and July of this year.
In turn, he reported that they are working on the study of everything related to public services, roads, transportation, housing, and urban development, while he explained that the country’s energy system has 35,000 kilometers of power lines, and in that sense, he considered The Draft Law on Comprehensive Security of the National Electric Service and System is essential for the protection of the system.
