President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said he will wait for the Venezuelan electoral court to decide on the presidential elections of July 28, as he assured that in a few days the result of the review of the electoral records could be known. In a morning press conference at the National Palace, he indicated that before communicating again with his counterparts from Colombia, Gustavo Petro, and from Brazil, Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, he will wait to learn the resolution of the electoral body.
We will wait for the electoral court to decide, because it is still in process. I believe that on Friday of this week they will decide on the minutes and the results; then we will wait.
the president insisted.
