AMLO receives Trudeau at the National Palace;  will hold a work meeting

Because the welcome ceremony had not been held, this Wednesday in the Patio de Honor, the president led the act in which the Mexican and Canadian national anthems were sung and the official photograph of the meeting was taken.

Around 11:15 a.m., both leaders will hold a working meeting with their delegations.

On behalf of Mexico, Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of Foreign Relations; Adán Augusto López, Secretary of the Interior; Rosa Icela Rodríguez, Head of Security; Rogelio Ramírez de la O, Secretary of Finance and Public Credit; Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, Secretary of Economy; as well as the Mexican ambassador in Canada, Carlos Joaquín González and Roberto Velasco Álvarez, head of Unit for North America.

The Canadian government entourage is made up of Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development; Marco EL Mendicino, Minister of Public Security; Graeme C. Clark, Canadian Ambassador to Mexico; Jody Thomas, Prime Minister’s National Security and Intelligence Advisor, among others.
