Support from AMLO, priority in the 2025 Budget project
The five priority programs for which the largest budget is planned are the Pension for the Well-being of the Elderly, with an amount of 483,472.6 million pesos.
It is followed by the Benito Juárez Scholarship Program, with a proposed investment of 131,926.5 million pesos, and Sembrando Vida, with 39,100 million pesos.
There is also the Social Housing Program, for which an expenditure of 32,000 million pesos is requested, and Youth Building the Future, with 24,205 million pesos.
México Evalúa highlights that almost 60% of the budget of priority social programs will be dedicated to older adults, mainly in the pension for Older Adults and Support for Women from 60 to 65 years old, while only 22% of the budget of the programs Social priorities will be dedicated to childhood, adolescence and youth.
