So López Obrador accused the leaders of the Pink Tide of lying because the Morena majority does not benefit them. “Yesterday there was a demonstration, with few people, but they are still lying to the people,” he said.
“In essence, first they say – because there is no doubt that the doctrine of the right, of conservatism, is hypocrisy – first they say: ‘The law is the law’, and now the law must be interpreted. The law is no longer the law, it is now subject to interpretation,” he questioned.
However, he insisted, Morena obtained that majority without committing fraud, because it won in 85% of the electoral districts.
“The leaders, the cronies, deceive many people, for example, that what we are doing is fraud, when elections so clean and free have never been held, when now there is a real democracy, not like before, when they falsified the minutes, stuffed the ballot boxes, and the dead voted,” he said.
“They say: ‘They are stealing 10 million votes from us.’ Where is the proof?” he said.
