During the second of the three days of work tour that he will have in Sonora, López Obrador explained that the objective is to have five schools with the same objective.

At this Saturday’s event, he was accompanied by Governor Alfonso Durazo and by the head of the Secretariat for Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (Sedatu), Roman Meyer.

“In Hermosillo, Obregón, Texcoco, in the State of Mexico, the port of Veracruz and Campeche, we had thought that there would be more, but to do it well, we decided to work on it in these five schools,” he explained.

The president said that having a sports school will allow coaches and teachers of Physical Education to be trained, who at the end of their training the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) must guarantee a place.

According to the president, a commercial plaza was intended to be built on the grounds of the stadium, which is why the federal government decided to acquire them for another purpose.
