Ambassador of Venezuela in Trinidad and Tobago presented credentials

The representative of Venezuela to Trinidad and Tobago, Álvaro Sánchez, presented his credentials to the president of the Caribbean country, Paula-Mae Weekes.

The activity took place at the Official Residence of the President, in Port of Spain, and included the participation of the Ceremonial Guard Company of the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment.

According to the embassy in a press release, the new ambassador held a conversation with President Weekes, in order to strengthen cooperation between the two nations.

Among the agreements is cooperation in areas such as education, culture and trade; as well as strengthen policies on migration and security.
