Ambassador of Venezuela delivers credentials to the Kingdom of Spain

This Wednesday the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Kingdom of Spain, Coromoto Godoy Calderondelivered his credentials to King Felipe VI.

The information was released by the Venezuelan Embassy in Spain, through its Twitter account.

“Ambassador Coromoto Godoy Calderón @GodoyCoromotoVE, delivered the credentials before His Majesty King Felipe VI, accrediting her as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Kingdom of Spain @CancilleriaVE”, published the Embassy of Venezuela in Spain.

Relaunch of relations between Venezuela and Spain

For its part, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry highlighted the delivery of the credentials of Ambassador Coromoto Godoy, upon ratifying the commitment to relaunch relations between the two countries.

This May 17, “the commitment to work to relaunch friendship and cooperation relations” is ratified, the Foreign Ministry said.

The act of delivery of credentials by Ambassador Godoy to the Kingdom of Spain took place at the Royal Palace of Madrid, and was attended by senior representatives of the Spanish government and the Venezuelan Embassy in Spain.

Before this ceremony, Ambassador Godoy Calderón expressed, on her account on the social network Twitter, her “immense joy” at hearing the Royal Band singing the notes of the Venezuelan National Anthem.

“An immense joy to hear the Royal Band in the Patio de la Armería of the Royal Palace, interpreting the glorious notes of our National Anthem, on the occasion of my presentation of the Credentials that accredit me as Ambassador to Spain. Long live Venezuela, my Beloved Homeland!” said Ambassador Godoy on the social network.
