Ambassador Jesús Salazar presents Letters of Credence in the Republic of Abkhazia

The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, residing in Moscow, Jesús Salazar Velásquez, presented the Letters of Credence before the President of the Republic of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania.

President Bzhania attended the representative of Venezuela, concurrent before the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, to whom he expressed his gratitude to the Venezuelan people and Government for the recognition of the country’s independence.

Salazar Velásquez affirmed that this recognition is a response from Venezuela to the courage and heroism of the Abkhaz people in their struggle for emancipation as a sovereign State.

Ambassador Salazar and President Bzhania agreed to make the necessary efforts to increase bilateral relations based on the highest interests of the Venezuelan and Abkhazian peoples.

It is worth noting that Salazar Velásquez presented to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Inal Árdzinba, the Style Copies that authorize him as a representative of the Venezuelan Government in this nation.
