This Tuesday, the ambassador of the Republic of Colombia in Caracas, Armando Benedetti, received the humanitarian coordinator of the United Nations (UN) in Venezuela, Gianluca Rampolla Del Tindaro.
The information was released by Benedetti, through his social networks: “Today I received the resident coordinator of the United Nations system, Gianluca Rampolla Del Tindaro, with whom we talked about the social and development agenda in the country,” held.

It is worth mentioning that Colombia and Venezuela currently maintain a cooperative relationship, and such is the case that on Sunday, January 8, the president of that country, Gustavo Petro, met with the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, where the progress achieved in the opening of the border bridges between Colombia and Venezuela was reported, which have allowed improving the conditions of Colombian and Venezuelan citizens in the border areas.
In addition, the progress achieved to complete the negotiation of the Agreement on the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments was announced, through which cross-border direct investments will be facilitated and promoted.
