Santo Domingo – Carlos Amarante Baretmember of the Political Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), affirmed today that he will not present himself to the internal process that his party is starting and that he will dedicate himself, along with his political team, to working to strengthen his organization and unity of the opposition.
Through a speech broadcast on his social networks, Amarante Baret said that he will work, together with his political team, to make the PLD a real option for power in 2024.
Similarly, promote the integration of a Table for Political and Social Coordination between the opposition parties and the social and community movement, ahead of the 2024 elections.
Amarante Baret was emphatic in pointing out the need for a great opposition alliance, as the majority of the country demands, in order to confront the re-election project launched from the National Palace at the polls.
