The arrival of this vessel boosts national tourism, for this, the authorities previously carried out works in the infrastructures for the attention of visitors.
For his part, the People’s Power Minister for Tourism, Alí Padrón, told the Punto de Encuentro program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión that “we continue to advance with the Motor Tourism. Venezuela for several years has not received cruise ships, much less from Europe. And now we have them here, most of them German, but also other nationalities from Spain, Belgium, France, today enjoying the beautiful island of Margarita”.
The tourist route will have the following routes: Punta Arena, Macanao Peninsula, La Restinga National Park, Porlamar, La Asunción, San Diego, El Ángel Beach and El Agua Beach.
“Venezuela was off the tourism radar, and we have achieved it thanks to articulation, many meetings we had last year. What comes next is to continue working,” said Padrón.
The cruise ship is owned by the Amadea Shipping Company, operated in the Phoenix Reisen fleet, and has eight passenger decks, seven bars, two restaurants, a library, cinema, hospital, stage, beauty salon, gym, and mini golf, among other services.
