Álvaro Delgado meets with leaders of the Coalition to plan a campaign for the runoff

The meeting was set for 2 p.m. and, later, at 4 p.m., it will be the turn of the technical teams of each party, who will begin to outline a new common programmatic proposal, called “Commitment to the Country 2.”

Delgado announced this call in his speech in Varela Square, where he was accompanied by representatives of the parties that make up the coalition. Among them were Andrés Ojeda, from the Colorado Party; Guido Manini Ríos, from Cabildo Abierto; Pablo Mieres, from the Independent Party; and Eduardo Lust, from the Constitutional Environmentalist Party, a party that, although it did not obtain parliamentary representation, has decided to support the nationalist candidate as he is the most voted in the coalition.

For its part, the Frente Amplio has been carrying out a meeting of the so-called “small table” with the same purpose.
