The government enabled three alternate circulation routes before the closure of the Pan-American highway due to the collapse registered at kilometer 1 towards Caracas.
The first option enabled to deviate is through the Polyhedron in both directions until it exceeds kilometer 1 where the affectation is located.
The second alternative, for those who go from Caracas to Los Teques, is to use the Las Mayas distributor.
While for those who go from Los Teques to Caracas, there are three routes that allow exit through La Mayas: through the intersection via La Cascada in the Don Pedro sector; also the Carrizal bridge; and through San Antonio de Los Altos.
The Minister for Transportation, Ramón Celestino Velásquez, added that the third alternate route would be through Los Teques and down to Tejerías. From there connect with the Autopista Regional del Centro.
He also indicated, in statements to VTV, that the Good Government 1×10 teams continue to work to solve the problem on the Pan-American highway as an emergency.
