The city of Córdoba also registered that temperature and, in the same province, several towns exceeded 37 degrees such as Marcos Juárez, Villa María, Río Cuarto, Laboulaye and Villa Dolores.
While, ten towns in Buenos Aires reached or exceeded 35 degreeslocated in the city of Junín as the hottest in the province with 38.2; followed by July 9 (38.1); Lauquen Train (37.3); San Carlos de Bolívar (37); Merle (36); Moron (35.6); Field of May (36); Ezeiza and Tres Arroyos with 35.1 and Las Flores (35).
Likewise, eight other Buenos Aires observatories showed thermal marks above 30: El Palomar, Bahía Blanca, Azul, Benito Juárez, Tandil, Olavarría, La Plata and Dolores.
The high temperatures registered this Monday, and which are expected to continue for the next few days, maintain yellow alerts in towns in 18 provinces in the center and north of the country where, according to SMN estimates, thermal marks that exceed 40 degrees are expected. .

With the 3:00 p.m. report, the yellow warnings for towns in Jujuy, Formosa, Chaco, Corrientes, Misiones, Entre Ríos, Santa Fe, San Juan, Mendoza, Buenos Aires, and La Pampa also remained in effect.
In the City of Buenos Aires, at 3:00 p.m. the thermometer reached 29.9 degrees with a thermal sensation of 30.9 and, according to the agency’s forecast, a suffocating week is expected in the district with maximum thermal marks that will reach 35 degrees next Friday and Saturday, with minimums of 22 and 23, respectively.
Meanwhile, the SMN warned that a yellow alert is in force in La Pampa, Chubut, Río Negro and Neuquén due to “winds from the west sector, with speeds between 50 and 70 kilometers per hour and gusts that can exceed 90”.
Alerts of the same level also remained in force, due to intense winds for San Luis, La Pampa, western Buenos Aires and eastern Catamarca and La Rioja.
The NMS also issued alerts for storms “some locally strong” for the southeast of Mendoza, where it is estimated that the rainfall “will be accompanied by intense gusts of wind, occasional hail, significant electrical activity and abundant rainfall in short periods of time.”
In the aforementioned region, “accumulated precipitation values between 20 and 30 millimeters are expected, and may be exceeded locally.”
Given the high temperatures, the Ministry of Health recommended that to avoid heat stroke in closed places “such as homes, work spaces or others, it is recommended to drink water more frequently, even when you do not feel thirsty; avoid caffeinated or excessive sugar, very cold or very hot; eat fruits and vegetables; avoid large meals; and avoid strenuous physical activity.
