The General Directorate of Migration On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health regretted the incident in which a foreigner fell while trying to flee when an interdiction operation was being carried out in Villa Francisca in conjunction with the Public Spaces Department of the National District City Council.
The institution is investigating the circumstances under which the foreigner was injured. He was assisted by 911 units and is recovering in a health center.
Migration reiterates that its agents are instructed to comply with Law 285-04, always respecting the human rights of foreigners who are in an irregular situation.
It is recalled that this is not the first time that this incident has occurred, since last Thursday a Haitian fell from the roof of a house during an operation in Bávaro, La Altagracia province.
