Soybean producers traded almost 300,000 tons and accumulated more than 1.15 million in three days since On Monday the Export Increase Program (PIE) was reopenedwhich implements an exchange rate of $230 per dollar for oilseed exports until next December 31.
The measure was agreed upon with the main export complexes, which agreed to liquidate soybeans and derivatives for at least US$3 billion.
According to figures from the Buenos Aires Grain Stock Exchange, this Wednesday 286,486 tons of soybeans were sold, totaling 1,156,017 since Monday.
The new purchase and sale contracts concluded in pesos on Wednesday and on previous dates but noted this Wednesday totaled 160,636 tons, and the average value of these businesses was $83,772 per unit of weight.
On the other hand, the fixings of operations arranged prior to Wednesday for 100,264 tons were also highlighted, reaching an average value of $84,168.
In relation to the deals agreed in dollars, the soybean purchase and sale contracts registered an average value of US$ 380.58 for a volume of 5,549 tons; while fixings were recorded for 11,496 tons at an average value of US$ 369.
For their part, the agro-exporters entered the local exchange market on Wednesday for US$87.5 million, and thus totaled US$577.5 million in the first three days.
While, The Central Bank closed the day on Wednesday with purchases for US$ 24 million, and accumulated US$ 338 million on three wheels.
