Almost 248 thousand workers have not yet withdrawn their salary bonus

Revenue pays third batch of Income Tax refunds today

Of the more than 700,000 workers qualified to receive a salary bonus in September, only 475,933 made the withdrawal. According to the Ministry of Labor and Employment, 247,754 beneficiaries have not yet made the withdrawal, which corresponds to R$228.65 million in available amounts. Pending amounts can be withdrawn until December 27th at Caixa Econômica Federal and Banco do Brasil.Almost 248 thousand workers have not yet withdrawn their salary bonus

At Caixa, payment is made primarily by crediting an account, in cases where the worker has a current account, savings account or digital account. It can also be done through credit via the Caixa Tem app, in a digital social savings account automatically opened by Caixa. In the case of non-account holders, payment will be made at agencies, lotteries, self-service, Caixa Aqui or through other payment channels offered by the institution.

Salary bonus payments through Banco do Brasil will be made primarily by credit to a bank account; transfer via TED, via PIX or in person at service agencies for workers who do not have an account and who do not have a PIX.

As of August, of the 26,151,402 workers covered, 723,687 had not yet withdrawn the amounts to which they are entitled.

Monthly payment

“For those who requested a review of the salary bonus through an administrative appeal, payments will be issued monthly, every 15th or on the first business day thereafter. Detailed information can be consulted through the Digital Work Card or on the GOV.BR portal”, informed the Ministry of Labor in Brasília.

Workers who meet the eligibility criteria are entitled to the Salary Allowance, such as being registered with the Social Integration Program/Public Servant Assets Formation Program (PIS/PASEP) for at least five years, counting from the date of the first contract; have received, from employers who contribute to the Social Integration Program (PIS) or to the Public Servant Asset Formation Program (PASEP), up to two average minimum wages of monthly remuneration during the period worked.

Furthermore, it is necessary that the worker has carried out paid work for at least 30 days – consecutive or not – in the base year considered for calculation; have your data, from the base year 2021, correctly informed by the employer in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS) or in eSocial.

Additional information can be requested through the Ministry of Labor and Employment’s service channels and at the units of the Regional Labor Superintendencies, by calling 158.
