In its report on the evaluation of the assistance program in the judicial elections last June, the Organization Commission of the National Electoral Institute (INE) stated that at the federal level, close to 100 percent of the goals were met, but at the local level, 73 percent was reached in some of the points.
He points out that problems were detected such as lack of connectivity in rural areas and insufficient number of trainers and supervisors.
The assistance program for the extraordinary judicial process with which members of the Federal Judicial Branch were elected for the first time defined the activities to be carried out by the electoral supervisors and trainers.
Information coverage
When presenting the corresponding report yesterday during the session of the Electoral Organization Commission, it was detailed that “at the federal level, with respect to the location of sectional polling stations, 97.36 percent was met; in preparation, integration and distribution of electoral documentation and materials to polling station officials, 99.99 was reached, and in tracking of packages, 99.87.” In addition, the information system on the development of the day covered 98.45 percent.
Meanwhile, at the local level, regarding the location of sectional boxes, 88 percent was reached, and regarding the preparation, integration and distraction of materials for the day, 73 percent coverage was achieved.
Among the main problems detected, the document highlights that there was a lack of connectivity in rural areas, which limited the flow of data, as well as an insufficient number of trainers, assistants and electoral supervisors for the day, and considerable distances between the polling stations.
