Through a statement published on its social networks, APP emphasized that the president of the Council of Ministers, Hannibal Torreshas insisted on an attitude of provocation and polarization.
“During the last few days, despite our various invocations, the government of President Pedro Castillo has insisted on appointing questionable people without the required qualifications or skills for the performance of their functions, which undermines the proper course of public management. Alliance for Progress also stressed that this meeting is not necessary, since he assured that a solution to the crisis is for the head of state to recompose his ministerial cabinet with people who are “capable and irreproachable”. Therefore, he indicated that Congress is the power of the State that must seek solutions to the country’s problems.
