Alleged holdout of hitmen and drug traffickers raided

The procedure took place in the last hours of today Friday and the police arrived at a house that served as a hold for these people, whose identities have not yet been released.

At the site, the uniformed officers surprised the residents, so there was no confrontation. Once inside the building, the police they found firearms of various calibers, ammunition for rifles, and other long weapons. There was also cocaine, marijuana and other narcotics to be determined.

For now the police only pointed out that those captured would be hitmen and drug traffickers who had been on the site for a few weeks now, it was not specified if they were going to commit any act of assassination.

The procedure is currently continuing and it is not ruled out that more raids will be carried out on other houses in Asunción and surroundings.
