Alleged femicide, requested by the Panamanian authorities, is extradited from Costa Rica

A man of Nicaraguan nationality, suspected of the femicide of the young Nicaraguan woman, Zenaida del Carmen López Ramírez, was extradited this afternoon to Panama, from Costa Rica.

This is a case registered on January 10, when the body of the young woman was found in a state of putrefaction in a rental house in Villa Guadalupe, province of Colón, which led to the performance of a series of investigative actions. where the victim’s ex-partner appears as the main suspect.

The subject was identified, for which the Public Ministry requested Interpol Panama to issue an international search alert, since intelligence information determined that he had left Panamanian territory illegally, locating himself in Costa Rica with alleged destination to the Republic of Nicaragua.

After his extradition, the man will be placed at the orders of the Panamanian judicial authorities, so that the process can continue.
