This is the alleged criminal network “Los Maquinadores de la Corrupción”. This morning, police officers from the Anti-Corruption Directorate raided a total of 16 properties and arrested 9 members of the National Police, including the head of the Huancayo Criminal Investigation Division, PNP Colonel César Ramos Chahuayllo, PNP Captain Gisela Palomino, Carlos Bastidas, Alberto Cerrón, among other officers and non-commissioned officers. It is presumed that they would integrate a network dedicated to altering the results of the alcohol dosages that the PNP carried out on drivers. As detailed by the head of the VI MACROPOL JUNÍN, PNP General Gregorio Villalón, Ramos and the other detainees are being investigated for alleged crimes against public peace (criminal organization) and public administration.
