Barahona.- Members of the Police arrested Crucito Ramírez, alias Tuto, for allegedly assaulting and attempting to sexually rape a 77-year-old woman.
Alias Tuto was arrested in the municipality of Neyba, Bahoruco province.
The South Regional Police Directorate indicated that the man entered the home of the lady in question, physically assaulted her and wanted to place a gag in her mouth and then rape her.
“Crucito Ramírez did not achieve his goal thanks to the lady’s cries for help that drew the attention of the neighbors, which motivated him to flee the place, being later apprehended by a patrol,” says the uniformed woman.
The detainee will be made available to the Public Ministry for the corresponding purposes of law.
