The authorities of Antioquia captured, by court order, Juan Stevan Rúa Nayazaknown as “The Indian”during an operation carried out in the municipality of Segovia, in Northeast Antioquia.
The arrest was made in the San Joaquín neighborhood, La Yé sector, where the man was identified and verified amid control activities.
Upon reviewing his background, the authorities confirmed that he had a current arrest warrant for the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime, aggravated homicide and manufacture, trafficking and possession of firearms or ammunition.

According to official information, “El Indio” would be Substructure hitman Jorge Iván Arboleda Garcés of the Gulf Clanwith a presence in Segovia, and would be linked to several homicides that occurred in the area.
Among them, he would be the alleged person responsible for the murder of Xhavy Yair Hernandezperpetrated on September 14, 2023 in that same municipality.
The detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent authority to advance in his judicialization process.
