The senator and president of the Hagamos Party, Patrick Kemper, in an interview with Radio 1000, confirmed that there is already a closed agreement regarding the list of candidates for the Upper House that the Alianza Encuentro Nacional will present.
He said that aspects such as the distribution of seats among the forces that make up the agreement remain to be defined, of which the National Encounter Party (PEN) and the Awakening Movement are part of, in addition to the nucleation he leads.
He recalled that the deadline for the registration of the lists for multi-member positions expires on June 27. The legislator clarified that the Agreement between the Political Parties and Movements of the opposition covers only the positions of President and Vice President of the Republic, in addition to governorships.
“We are working with a lot of effort in the departments as well as in the city of Asunción, trying to unify that proposal and logically looking for all citizens committed through their political nucleations, that they do so as well,” he said.
