Parallel to the anti-drug operation carried out in Casigua-El Cubo, on the Zulia-Colombia border, the military detained two members of the criminal gang founded by Alfonso José Olivares Urdaneta “El Alfonsito”.
According to reports collected, the detainees were identified as Oswaldo Enrique Palmar Andrade and Yohana Carolina Arrieta Martínez, who were arrested in the San Isidro sector, Maracaibo municipality, according to a report from the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) No. 11.
Two 5.56×16 mm caliber AR-15 model rifles were seized from these people, with no visible marks or serial numbers; an Ingram MAC 10 9 mm caliber submachine gun; two 9 mm pistols (Glock and Browning) and a Mossberg brand 12 gauge shotgun.
Likewise, the subjects possessed: two grenades, two AR-15 rifle magazines, two submachine gun magazines, two pistol magazines and 98 cartridges, including 30 for rifles, five radio transmitters, a grenade security ring and five telephone sets, indicates the military report.
