SANTO DOMINGO.- Alexis Medina and Fernando Rosa, accused of the Antipulpo case, left the Najayo prison for their residences tonight, after Judge Deiby Timoteo Peguero changed the preventive pressure coercion measure for house arrest last Monday.
Alexis and Fernando left after 7:40 at night, being transported in a bus from Public ministry.
The process of leaving the defendants in the Antipulpo case was delayed for a couple of days due to several requirements that the National District Prosecutor’s Office had requested from the defenses.
Last Monday, Judge Timoteo Peguero, of the seventh Investigating Court of the National District, also ordered the payment of RD$60 million under insurance for Alexis Medina; RD$30 million for Fernando Rosa; RD$20 million for José Dolores Santana and Wacal BernaBel Méndez, the latter two would leave on Monday due to a delay in the documents deposited.
