The renowned Bogotá comedian Alejandro Riaño, known for his character ‘Juanpis González’, has raised his voice against what he describes as a case of corruption in an event that should have been free in Barrancabermeja, Santander.

Riaño launched the strong complaint through his social networks after his presentation this Tuesday, October 1.

According to Riaño, The event, which was supposed to be free and organized to promote local talent, ended up being used for profit, as many attendees reported paying large sums of money for tickets that should not have cost.

The show took place in a renowned convention center in the city, with the participation of several artists as part of a private initiative to promote local art and culture.

Riaño asked for the money to be returned

Riaño shared on his social networks proof that the event should not have been charged to attendees, and has made an urgent call to the organizers to return the money to those who paid.

At the closing of his presentation, Riaño touched on the issue of corruption, alluding to the situation that affects Barrancabermeja and many other places in the country.
