Alejandro Caverothird vice president of Congresssent a letter to the new head of the Legal and Constitutional Office of Parliament requesting a detailed report on the situation of the aforementioned office and what its work plan is.
This demand comes after the revelation of complaints of alleged irregularities in the hiring processes during the administration of Jorge Torres Saravia, who is today being investigated for being the alleged leader of a prostitution network in Congress.
Parliamentarian Cavero assured that these accusations have a negative impact on citizen perception of this power of the State, particularly its integrity.
In the letter sent by the congressman you can read four key points, the first being the request for a balance of the procedural burden, that is, a detailed report. On the files managed during the previous administration, specifying how many were resolved and which remain pending.
Specific information is also requested about the personnel currently working in the agency, such as experience, studies, work regime, remuneration and assigned functions.
The third point addresses a situational diagnosis of the office, requesting a detailed analysis of the state in which it was received by the new boss, including administrative or logistical problems that could be limiting its correct functioning.
Finally, the fourth point requires the presentation of a work plan with short, medium and long-term objectives, which serves as a roadmap to reorganize the office and guarantee its efficiency.
