In time that care is paid to mental health, Alejandro Castellanos, creator of the retirement “breaks your limits” and the methodology “speaks and express without fears”, will be in the Fil Arequipa presenting his book.
What is the most frequent emotional wound in Peruvians? The emotional wounds that are born in childhood. Our parents or the people who raised us left certain unconscious programming in us: abandonment, physical or psychological abuse, emotional coldness, extreme demand or affective absence. Today, already adults, these brands are reflected in the way we interact. We repeat patterns, we attract similar links or, on the contrary, we allow everything to not be like them. These wounds impact our relationships with dad, mom, partner, children and even with work teams. In addition, many of us carry unconscious programming related to money: we learned to give, but not to receive, and that lack of deserving keeps us stagnant.
What really does “break your limits”? Breaking limits is recoding the beliefs that stop us, those phrases that repeated us as “you can’t” “It’s very difficult”, “it’s very expensive”, “It is not for you.” When you heal from the root these wounds and transform those beliefs, which seemed impossible before becoming attainable. You realize that remembering a painful experience no longer affects you emotionally. That is true freedom: not only momentary motivation, but a deep and lasting change for a lifetime.
What is the greatest fear that young people face when speaking in public? Fear is not to speak in public itself, but to something more specific: what will they say, to make mistakes, to be criticized or forget about what they were going to say. That fear arises because they have no structure or clarity about their knowledge. Talking in public is like training in a gym: you need to exercise your mind, get out of your comfort zone and dare to put your voice and message into action. It is not about being perfect, but authentic and constant.
What do successful people have emotionally? Successful people are distinguished by their mentality and habits. They have several plans and strategies, they never depend on a single option. They are resilient: if something does not work, they are already ready with the following alternative. They constantly self -educate themselves, they invest in their growth. They surround themselves with a circle of influence that inspires and drives them. They maintain emotional discipline, they know how to manage frustration, rejections and difficult times. And, above all, they are held in a clear purpose that moves them beyond money or recognition.
What book or tool will you present at FIL Arequipa? I will have the honor of presenting my book “Speak and express yourself without fears”, published under the seal of Almandino Editores on October 8 4 pm in Auditorium 1. Thanks to its editorial accompaniment, the work managed to fulfill its goal: to reach many people and open space in prestigious scenarios such as the Blanca Varela Auditorium in the Fil Lima, Fil Oruro, Huancayo, among others. Now he will have a special space in the FIL Arequipa, one of the most important literary and cultural encounters in the south of the country. I will also carry out the pre -release of my second publication, which is a practical emotional accompaniment tool to brave women. In addition, I will present my book at the 2nd International Congress of Authors on October 25 with Yokoi Kenji from Japan and Farid Dieck from Mexico.
