Alejandro Buzó: “The TSJE does not have approved plans”

Alejandro Buzó: "The TSJE does not have approved plans"

A strong fire broke out in the Superior Court of Electoral Justice, which does not have plans approved by the Municipality of Asunción.

Alejandro Buzó, director of Fire Prevention of the Municipality of Asunción, mentioned that the property where the TSJE is located does not have plans. «The fire prevention plan was notified in July of last year and to this date we have not had responses to that notification. As we did not have approved plans, we ex officio made the notifications requiring the documents they had to date.

«These types of installations are multipurpose, they are required to have a centralized detection, which allows detecting when there is a start of fire. Sprinklers are not required for warehouses and it is something I have been fighting for so that it can be changed,” said Captain Alejandro Buzó on the 730 am station.

On the other hand, he added that the measures must be for both public and private buildings that are intended to receive people. “We have been doing the accompaniment since 2020, but those who must do it are accredited experts. The fact of being a firefighter does not make a person an expert, “said Alejandro Buzó, director of Fire Prevention of the Municipality of Asunción.
